It is the guests responsibility to take notice of all safety signage within the building.
All guests will be expected to behave in a civilised manner whilst staying at Haggis Hostels.
All guests will be respectful to staff and other guests.
All guests must supply staff with authentic photographic identification. Failure to do so will result in failure to check in. Deposits in this case are non-refundable.
All lost or damaged hostel property must be paid for in full by the guest responsible.
We ask all guests to respect the environment, as we do, and switch off all switches and plugs where possible.
We ask all guests to recycle where possible.
For security reasons we ask all guests to look after their keys. Any lost keys will incur a charge of £10.00. A £10.00 Deposit will be taken on arrival per key.
All children must be accompanied by parent or guardian, and stay in a private room with their own party only. You must obtain prior approval from hostel management for children staying at the hostel.
Haggis Hostels asks all guests to proceed with caution in all wet areas for the safety of themselves and other guests.
We do not accept luggage for storage from non-guests.
Haggis Hostels does not take responsibility for any lost or stolen property.
It is the guest's responsibility to read the house rules.
Failure to comply with the Haggis Hostel Rules and Regulations could result in dismissal from the hostel without recompense.
Cancellation Policy: Bookings may be cancelled 48 hours prior to arrival (10am), otherwise the card used for booking will charge the full amount of the stay. All cancellations must be made in writing by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
All bookings cancelled or modified more than 48 hours prior to arrival will incur a 10% administration fee or a minimum of £5.00 whichever is the greater. This fee is per booking. All bookings cancelled after 48 hours prior to scheduled arrival or no shows will be charged in full.
Damages Policy: Any unreasonable damages or breakages to Haggis Hostels property will be charged to the credit card given at the time of booking, within 48 hours of the guest's departure.
For group bookings of 6 people or more to we would prefer payments to be made by bank transfer. Should you prefer to make payments by credit/debit card a 2.5% administration fee will be applied.
